NHCC Theater To Showcase Heart Gallery Kids

ALBUQUERQUE — Gov. Susana Martinez has unveiled the National Hispanic Cultural Center as the first-ever New Mexico theater to showcase Heart Gallery children before every film and other performances.
 
Heart Galleries feature foster children available for adoption and help them find families. There are more than 500 Children, Youth, and Families Department (CYFD) foster children statewide available for adoption, with 180 in Bernalillo County alone.

The Los Alamos Federated Republican Women will celebrate the holiday season with a potluck luncheon noon to 1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10, in the Patio Room at 1001 Oppenheimer Place.

DPU Seeks Input On Carbon Neutrality Definition

The Board of Public Utilities (BPU) will review various recommendations included in the July 7, 2015 Future Electrical Energy Report over the next three Board meetings.

Thursday night the Hilltoppers Girls’ basketball team moved to 4-0 on the young season with a hard-fought 62-42 victory over the Belen Eagles.
 
The Toppers led by only 14-12 after the first quarter and only 30-25 at halftime.
