Los Alamos Rifle Team Scores At Duke City

The Los Alamos rifle teams traveled to West Mesa High School Nov. 21 to compete in the Duke City Cup match.
 
This match drew more than 200 participants from New Mexico and Texas. Los Alamos competed with five precision and six sporter class shooters. New Mexico is one of the few locations in the country that has the Megalink electronic target system for large events such as this.

SANTA FE  The New Mexico Department of Health’s Northeast Regional Public Health Offices will be hosting flu shot clinics.
 
No appointments are necessary for the dates, times and locations listed below.
 
There is no charge to those attending the clinics, but everyone should bring their insurance card, including Medicaid or Medicare, with them.

One of the brightest events of Winterfest is the North Pole Workshop and Luminaria Walk at the Posse Lodge and Stables, 650 North Mesa Road.
 
Visitors can enjoy complimentary hayrides on the property, lined with farolitos and luminarias. There is no charge for the event. The North Stable Area will be lined with farolitos, put in place by the Los Alamos Pony Club and Los Alamos Team 4-H.
