This classic photo was taken by a British photographer during the darkest time of WWII. The giant panda cub in the photo was named Ming 明. She was brought by an American adventurer from her mountainous southwestern China habitat to London Zoo in a raging blizzard on the Christmas Eve of 1938.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today welcomed the identification of a suspect in the November arson at a mosque in Albuquerque.

After a year off due to the pandemic, Freedom Church will again host an outdoor Christmas Eve Service Friday, Dec. 24 at Ashley Pond and the whole community is invited.
