ALBUQUERQUE — Most Reverend John C. Wester, Archbishop of Santa Fe, will hold an “Unveiling and Blessing of a Sign of Peace” at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Santa Fe (417 Agua Fria St, Santa Fe, NM 87501).

Archbishop Wester will unveil this sign to initiate a comprehensive conversation on nuclear disarmament as a critical step toward world peace. He believes the Archdiocese of Santa Fe has a special role to play in facilitating this urgent dialogue.

Pfizer Boosters Now Available For 16-17 Year Olds

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) announced Friday that COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine booster scheduling is now available for 16-17 year olds.

This follows federal approvals by the FDA and CDC and a review Thursday by the New Mexico Medical Advisory Team.

New Mexico Economic Development Dept. Awards Grant To Town Of Taos For Airport Industrial Park Investments

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Economic Development Department (EDD) has awarded its third rural LEDA infrastructure grant to the Town of Taos for airport industrial park investments that will help attract new businesses and better serve passengers, EDD Cabinet Secretary Alicia J. Keyes announced Thursday.

Nov. 24 came and went, and whereas the laws of biology are flexible enough to allow medical professionals to administer the second vaccine dose a day early, the laws of bureaucracy (as verified by the staff of LANL Occupational Medicine) were not as accommodating.

Los Alamos County Community Services announces that the New Mexico Ice Wolves will be in town to play an inter-squad game at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5 at the Los Alamos Ice Rink.
