Infant/Child CPR And First Aid Class March 14

Learn basic infant and child CPR and first aid to be calmer and more prepared in the event of an emergency.

Certified CPR instructor Steve Bond teaches CPR for infants under 1 year old and children ages 1 year to eight years. He will teach an Infant/Child CPR And First Aid class 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 14 at Family Stengths Network (FSN) in Pueblo Complex on Diamond Drive.

Los Alamos Fencing Club Announces End-Of-Season Epee Tournament Finishers

The Los Alamos Fencing Club hosted an end-of-season epee tournament for the YMCA Advanced Fencing class this week.
 
The finishers include:
  • Wesley Terrones (Gold medal);
  • Dana Urbatsch  (Silver medal);
  • Mady Anderson;
  • Paige Power; and
  • Aiden Monteith.
 
“All of the fencers have worked very hard over the last year to hone their fencing skills to the level they now are,” LAFC Coach Tom Hill said. “Wesley’s flawless footwork and fast thinking on the strip carried him to the gold medal finish.
