Cull joked that she has been ‘bugged’ about running for council for several years but wanted to wait till after she retired from the laboratory. Suzie Havemann-D, files for Los Alamos County Council this afternoon in the Municipal Building. ‘I feel pretty proud I grew up here and I feel fortunate to be able to come back and raise my my kids,’ Havemann said. While she has been active in the community, Havemann said running for council is a way to give back on the policy and decision-making side.
