LAHS Class Of 2026 Graduation Scheduled For May 23

The Los Alamos High School Class of 2026 graduation will take place on Saturday, May 23 at Sullivan Field. The ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. Tickets are not required to attend the graduation ceremony.

Supreme Court Affirms Murder Conviction Of Timothy Lopez For Thanksgiving Day Shooting Death

The state Supreme Court affirmed the first-degree murder conviction of Timothy Lopez for the shooting death of a man on Thanksgiving Day in 2020 at a gasoline station in Alcalde, a community in Rio Arriba County.

Ramp Closures At I-25 And NM 14/Cerrillos Road

NMDOT News:

SANTE FE — As part of the DDI upgrades at the intersection of I-25 and NM 14/Cerrillos Road, ramp closures are expected to take place beginning Monday, May 18.

The northbound on ramps from NM 14/Cerrillos Road to I-25 will be closed from 7 a.m. t0 6 p.m. on May 18 and May 19 for repaving. All motorists needing to access northbound I-25 will be diverted to NM 599. 

The southbound off ramps from I-25 to NM 14/Cerrillos Road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., May 20 and May 21 for repaving. All motorists will be diverted to NM 599.

All work is expected to be completed by Thursday May 21, weather permitting. Read More
