Water Outage Affecting Businesses On Trinity Drive
COUNTY News:
Some commercial buildings on Trinity Drive between Knecht and 15 Street are without water this afternoon after a valve broke.
Specific businesses without water include Enterprise Bank & Trust at 1200 Trinity Dr., as well as offices in buildings 1362 and 1340 Trinity Dr.
Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities water crews are repairing the valve and estimate that water will be fully restored by 8 p.m. today to these customers.
No traffic impacts are expected, and no other commercial buildings should be affected by the outage.

Water Line Break On Capulin Road In North Mesa
COUNTY News:
Approximately 40 Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities customers in the Capulin Road area in North Mesa have very low or no water pressure.
At approximately 3 p.m. today, a water line was hit by a contractor while excavating on Capulin Road.
Water restoration to affected customers is estimated between 6 and 7 p.m. today.
DPU offers the following consideration to customers when water is restored:
- Water may at first appear murky due to entrained air. This problem will resolve itself in a day or so.

Pebble Labs Seeks To Terminate Economic Development Agreement With Los Alamos County
PEBBLE LABS News:
Los Alamos County will be considering a request from Pebble Labs to cancel its public-private partnership with the County.
As part of the proposal, Pebble Labs would return two parcels of land to the County that was given to them under the Local Economic Development Act (LEDA) in order to facilitate its original plans to build a biotech campus.
Pebble Labs has dropped plans to build the campus near its biolab on Entrada Drive. Instead, it intends to focus efforts on commercializing its science.

Update: A 21-year-old male was driving this car at about 2 a.m. Friday when for unknown reasons he veered across Diamond Drive near 38th Street, broke through chain link fencing and landed a number of feet below in a backyard. In a 6-1 vote, the Los Alamos County Council appointed Steven Lynne as the new County Manager during its Tuesday night meeting.
