Los Alamos County has numerous Vote Centers to be open on Election Day, Nov. 5.

If you are registered in Los Alamos County, you can vote from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at any Vote Centers.

In Los Alamos:

  • County Municipal Building at 1000 Central Ave.;
  • UNM-LA at 4000 University Drive;
  • Betty Eart Senior Center at 1101 Bathtub Row accessible from Rose Street; and
  • Golf Course Multi-Purpose Room at 4244 Diamond Drive.

In White Rock:

  • White Rock Town Hall at 139 Longview Drive.

It is just days until the U.S. holds its Election Day on Nov. 5 and Los Alamos County Clerk Naomi Maestas assures the public that locally, the voting process is going smoothly.

“Everything has been going great,” she said.

Los Alamos County Parks, Recreation and Open Space Divisions have partnered up with the Pajarito Astronomers for the Dark Night program.

Anyone with an interest in star gazing and the chance to look through a telescope is invited to come out to Spirio Soccer Fields Saturday night, 11/02/24, at Overlook Park in White Rock. This is the last Dark Night for 2024.

Los Alamos Golf Course Schedule Changes Begin Nov. 4

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos Golf Course will adjust its operating hours for the winter season beginning Monday, Nov. 4, 2024. 

The golf course and golf shop will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The golf shop will be open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays, with all rentals required to be returned by 4:30 p.m.

These changes will remain in effect until Dec. 8, 2024, subject to course and weather conditions.

Golfers should stay updated on any changes by visiting the Los Alamos County website or contacting the golf course directly.
