New Mexico Museum Of Natural History & Science Will Be Open Every Day During International Balloon Fiesta

The New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science (NMMNHS) will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day Sept. 29 through Oct. 10, coinciding with the annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.   

Visitors to the Old Town-area museum can check out “The Art of Warner Bros. Cartoons,” which opens Sept. 29. For more than 80 years, Warner Bros. animation has been bringing joy to all ages with some of the most iconic cartoon characters ever created — including Bugs Bunny, Tweety Pie, the Tasmanian Devil and Daffy Duck.

SANTA FE — Three New Mexico elementary schools are being honored by the National Blue Ribbon Schools Program.

The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program recognizes outstanding schools throughout the nation.
