While a lot of people want to speed ahead to Read More

The eight-day Jewish celebration known as Hanukkah or Chanukah commemorates the rededication during the second century B.C. of the Second Temple in Jerusalem, where according to legend Jews had risen up against their Greek-Syrian oppressors in the Maccabean Revolt.
Hanukkah, which means “dedication” in Hebrew, begins on the 25th of Kislev on the Hebrew calendar and usually falls in November or December. Often called the Festival of Lights, the holiday is celebrated with the lighting of the menorah, traditional foods, games and gifts.

Every Christmas, until I was a junior in high school, she enjoyed the package opening, curious to see what the wrapping hid, and delighted when it was obviously something for her. She shared with us the fun Read More

By PASTOR RAUL GRANILLO
Los Alamos
When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways. Acts 3:26
There have been times in my life when I felt as if some of the things that I had done were so horrible that even God could not forgive me. I’m sure I’m not the only person who has felt this way.
