There will be a play reading for Los Alamos Little Theatre’s November show, Agatha Christie’s “And Then There Were None” also known as “Ten Little Indians” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 25 at Los Alamos Little Theatre, 1670 Nester St.

PEEC Offers Silent Auction of Dorothy Hoard Artworks

Before her death in March, Dorothy Hoard, one of the most beloved women in Los Alamos, a Living Treasure, and ardent supporter of the community, entrusted her friend Terry Foxx with her artwork.
Hoard’s wish was that it would be used to further her legacy by offering the artwork for sale to the community through the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC).

Two new shows open at the Fuller Lodge Art Center with a reception 5-7 p.m. Friday. In the main gallery, FLAC displays its latest themed show, “Eureka!”.
In the Portal Gallery is “Eclecticity,” work by Katherine Brittin and Charryl Greenwood Berger. Guest artist David Blecha i is sharing a large number of works presented in trios as well.

Artist Sam Tubiolo Prepares Bas Relief Tile Mural For Council Chambers Dedication June 24
Artist Sam Tubiolo prepares his bas relief tile mural for installation in the Los Alamos County Council Chambers. The center portion of the mural was de-installed from the old Municipal Building on Ashley Pond, and has been stored in county facilities since that time. Tubiolo created the two side panels for Council Chambers in the new Municipal Building. The mural will be dedicated at 4 p.m., June 24 in Council Chambers. The public is invited to attend. ‘Scene Painting Made Easy’ Workshop June 28

Scene Painting Made Easy: The Los Alamos Little Theatre is offering a workshop on easy techniques for creating brick, marble and wood grain effects with paint.
This is a great opportunity for people who are interested in creating sets or who would like to be more creative in their decorating pursuits.
Los Alamos artist Fran Stoval has been painting sets for 20 years and will teach the workshop 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 28 at the Los Alamos Little Theatre, 1670 Nectar St.
