For Giving Productions and Warehouse 21 present The Valerie of Now and Imagining Brad by Peter Hedges.

The production is directed by Janet Davidson. There will be two shows, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29 and 4 p.m. Sunday, June 30 at Warehouse 21, 1614 Paseo de Peralta, Santa Fe. SANTA FE—Del Norte Credit Union, northern New Mexico’s hometown financial cooperative, expands its DNCU North Star Artists series with an exhibit at the DNCU DeVargas branch featuring work by renowned photographer Walter Bigbee, a member of the Comanche Nation.

Bigbee feels that Native photography continues the tradition of storytelling once expressed through petroglyphs and pictographs. His hope is that his photojournalism will help Natives and non-Natives to better understand Native people and culture.

Founding member of the Espanola Valley Fiber Arts Center (EVFAC), Trish Spillman has been exhibiting her multi-dimensional fiber artwork.

The final day of the exhibit is today. The center is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and other times on weekends.

Hold U and Company is hosting the Arts and Crafts Show at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 104 DP Road in Los Alamos.

Taos entertainer Juan Rivera, whose voice has been compared to Frank Sinatra’s will perform.

Telling tales has been John Nichols’ life-long career.

“Ever since I was a kid, I had a great imagination and told a lot of lies,” the Taos author said.

The chance to hear Nichols’ stories first-hand is approaching. He will make an appearance in Mesa Public Library’s Authors Speak series at 7 p.m., June 27 in the library’s rotunda.

Nichols has published 20 books of both fiction and non-fiction. Several of his novels, including The Milagro Beanfield War, have been made into movies.
