Los Alamos Medical Center (LAMC) team members have caring hearts not only for patients, but for the community. Hospital leadership and the Employee S.T.A.R. Committee today welcomed LA Cares as they picked up a table full of items generously donated by LAMC staff over the last few weeks. Supporting this organization aligns with the hospital’s mission of making communities healthier, as the food pantry provides food for more than 100 households in Los Alamos and White Rock every month. Sometimes it seems like I see more ads than posts from my actual friends on Facebook. And god forbid I accidentally linger on any one ad too long, guarantee you I will see nothing but ads for that kind of thing for the next week straight (let’s not talk about that charcuterie board ad).

Thirty-six Los Alamos High School (LAHS) DECA students participated this week in the New Mexico DECA District 1 Competition. This is the first phase of NMAA sponsored DECA competitive events that culminate in students qualifying to attend in April 2025 the national DECA conference.
