LACDC Board Accepts Scott Randall’s Resignation

Last Thursday, as had been reported in the local press, Los Alamos Commerce and Development (LACDC) Executive Director Scott Randall was arrested in Los Alamos on misdemeanor charges (DUI and domestic battery). Click here for background.
 
In an effort to minimize any impact this might have on the LACDC, Randall promptly offered the LACDC Board his resignation, effective immediately. 
 
Monday afternoon, the full Board met to review the situation and voted to accept Randall’s resignation, despite his excellent performance to date.

Los Alamos Police arrested the executive director of the Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation (LACDC) overnight and charged him with domestic battery and DUI.

Scott Randall, 58, attended a tourism event with his wife at Buffalo Thunder that ran 5-7 p.m. where alcohol was served and left the hotel at about 11 p.m. to return to Los Alamos. He called the police department at 11:37 p.m., to report that his wife would not let him leave their home in Quemazon, according to the police report. He then left his residence Read More
