Los Alamos County Invites Community To Take Survey On Comprehensive Plan Update
COUNTY News:
Los Alamos County invites residents, business owners, community partners, and members of the local workforce to participate in the Plan Los Alamos Community Survey, open through April 3.
The survey is part of the County’s 2026 Comprehensive Plan Update and will help guide future decisions related to land use, housing, transportation, infrastructure, and economic development.
Community members are encouraged to share their input by completing the survey online at lacnm.com/CompPlanSurvey. Feedback collected will help inform priorities and goals for the updated plan. Read More

Pajarito Pickleball Club Beginners Skills Clinic April 19

SPORTS News:
The Pajarito Pickleball Club will be hosting a skills clinic for beginners from 1-3 p.m., Sunday, April 19. This is an excellent opportunity for absolute beginners or those new to the game to learn a warmup to prepare for play and prevent injuries, basic skills and shots, and the foundational rules and strategies of the game.
The clinic will be led by certified instructors Scott Parkinson and Kristine Coblentz. No experience is necessary to join. Loaner paddles will be available upon request. Space is limited, so it is recommended to register early.

Otero Arts Military Women Veterans Arts Exhibits Throughout May

Otero Arts veteran arts showcase plans an ambitious and exciting program of art exhibits, activities and events in honor of Military Women that will run throughout May 2026 at the Otero Artspace, 12th and Indiana in Alamogordo, NM.
Artwork, all by women veterans, will be displayed starting May 1. The application deadline for women veterans and active duty interested in showcasing their art, writing or performances is March 21, 2026. County Accepting Applications For Personnel Board
COUNTY News:
Los Alamos County is now accepting applications for eligible candidates for appointment for two vacant seats on the Personnel Board. The vacancies are a three-year term, expiring March 31, 2029.
Interested Los Alamos County residents who do not hold public office and are not employed by the County may submit an online application by visiting the County’s Boards and Commissions webpage and selecting “apply.” Applications will be accepted until the vacancy is filled.
