Sentencing for Allan Houle of Los Alamos under a plea agreement was continued for 30 days Wednesday in First Judicial District Court. Chief Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer expressed concern with the inconsistencies between Houle’s agreement and that of Anthony Knief who was sentenced Monday afternoon in her courtroom.

Ryan A. Roller of Los Alamos was bound over to District Court Friday on three charges following a preliminary hearing before Los Alamos Magistrate Judge Pat Casados.

ALBUQUERQUE Attorney General Hector Balderas announced Sept. 21 that Eli Kronenanker was indicted by a grand jury in the 2013 alleged rape and kidnapping of a Rio Rancho teen.

John Joseph Lerma, 42, of Albuquerque will serve only four years of incarceration followed by five years of supervised probation after pleading guilty to three charges Sept.18 under the terms of a plea agreement in the First Judicial Court in Santa Fe.

Lerma was arrested in August 2016 along with Rosalinda Hurtado and the two were originally charged with a total of 54 counts in 17 cases in Los Alamos County. Hurtado was sentenced to five years of probation in June on 13 felony counts. The cases involved multiple crimes including Read More

A White Rock woman was arrested Thursday and charged with embezzling thousands of dollars from the non-profit Los Alamos Youth Football and Cheerleading League (LAYFCL).
