ALBUQUERQUE – Acting U.S. Attorney James D. Tierney and Special Agent in Charge Terry Wade of the FBI’s Albuquerque Division have announced that Jason Loera was sentenced this afternoon in federal court for his conviction on a child pornography charge.

ALBUQUERQUE– Attorney General Hector Balderas announced that pediatrician Juan Torres Santos, who was found guilty of one count of Sexual Exploitation of Children in October 2015, lost his appeal to the New Mexico Court of Appeals.

ALBUQUERQUE – Attorney General Hector Balderas and Second Judicial District Attorney Rául Torrez announced Friday that Lloyd Aguilar was sentenced this week to 20 years in prison followed by eight years of supervised probation for robbing a mother and her three children at gunpoint in a Smith’s parking lot on the Westside of Albuquerque.

Paul F. Geisik, 23, of Los Alamos has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon following an incident June 19 in which he allegedly brandished a handgun at another driver.

Los Alamos Poice Cpl. Michael Weiss responded to a complaint that a white BMW convertible was being driven recklessly on San Ildefonso Road and that the driver was brandishing a revolver handgun.
