Annual Ullrfest On Pajarito Mountain Today!

PAJARITO MOUNTAIN News:

The community is invited to pray to the Norse God of snow for a good ski season in 2019-20 and have some fun at the annual Ullrfest, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Pajarito Mountain Ski Hill.

Ullrfest features live music, lift-served mountain biking and hiking, food from Pajarito Mountain Cafe and a New Mexico Brewfest.

  • Canteen;

  • La Reforma;

Los Alamos Chamber Of Commerce Celebrates Second El Rigoberto Tacos Eatery With Ribbon Cutting Monday

CHAMBER News:

The Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the opening of the second location of El Rigoberto Tacos with a ribbon cutting starting at 10 a.m., with the actual ribbon cutting at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Sept. 23.

The new restaurant is at 25 Bonnie View Dr. in White Rock.

Gladys Loya and her husband Andres Gomez opened the original El Rigobertos Tacos in the fall of 2012 in Los Alamos at 166 Central Park Square.

Did you know that you have your very own history museum? Executive Director Liz Martineau of the Los Alamos Historical Society and Museum said that she believes they belong to the people of Los Alamos.
 
The popular destinations serve, through a combination of sources including:
  • 47 percent from fundraising and donations;
  • 25 percent from gift shop sales; and
  • 28 percent from Los Alamos County.

Community Waffle Breakfast Fundraiser Sept. 21

Pajarito Lodge #66 is hosting its bi-monthly Community Waffle Breakfast Fundraiser 7:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 at 1400 North Sage Loop.

The Los Alamos High School Navy Junior ROTC unit is working with the Masonic Lodge to staff the breakfast this month.
