Clark and Roger’s brother Kent Waterman. Roger, a longtime YMCA Board member, was the successful bidder at the annual YMCA Red and Black Ball this year to have lunch with the director and he invited the others to join him. Aspen Elementary School is still the home of free food for children under the age of 18 through Aug. 2.
The Summer Food Service Program is 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and provides a free hot lunch and healthy snack. This free lunch is extended to any youth visiting the community during the summer.
Meals are served Monday through Friday, with an option for parents to purchase a meal for just $5.
