Sonic Prepares To Reopen Saturday Morning

Work is underway tonight to prepare for the reopening Saturday of Sonic Drive-In at 1695 Trinity Dr. Sonic owner Frank told the Los Alamos Daily Post tonight that he has owned the establishment for five years. He said the recent two-month closure has been difficult. The weight of heavy snow caused a side roof to collapse Jan. 13, pinning a couple of vehicles beneath. No injuries were reported in the incident. The newly installed Sonic menu displays are lit up tonight as the owner and his crew prepare for the reopening Saturday.
