The Rotary Club of Los Alamos is having its 10th annual Crab Fest fundraiser this Saturday, Feb. 23, from 5:30-9 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall (the intersection of Trinity and DP Road).

The Crab Fest is a great opportunity to enjoy family-style all-you-can-eat crab legs and prawns (and chicken), participate in live and silent auctions, and help raise money for service projects both in our own community and internationally. On Friday, Feb. 15, Los Alamos Makers at 3540 Orange St., was transformed into a pop-up venue for an out-of-the-ordinary date night. A virtual crackling  fireplace projected on the large screen, along with romantic background music, made for a soothing atmosphere. The community is invited to attend the Pajarito Masonic Lodge charity waffle breakfast to benefit Los Alamos Boy Scout Troop 222.

The breakfast is 7:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Masonic Lodge, 1400 N. Sage Loop near the corner of 15th Street and Canyon Road.
