Los Alamos Public Library Launches 2025 Summer Reading Program With Circus Arts Event Featuring Wise Fool

The Los Alamos Public Library will kick off its 2025 Summer Reading Program with a day of circus fun Monday, June 2 featuring Santa Fe-based performance troupe Wise Fool. This free celebration for all ages includes hands-on workshops and an evening performance at Ashley Pond.

Workshops will take place from 2-5:30 p.m. in and around Mesa Public Library, with both indoor and outdoor sessions including puppet-making, stilt walking, and a Circus Try-It-Out Zone. LAHS To Hold 2025 Graduation Ceremony Saturday

It’s the start of Senior Week at Los Alamos High School (LAHS) for the Class of 2025. Activities this week include Senior Sunset, Senior Picnic at Urban Park, and Senior Walks at the elementary schools and middle school, culminating in the graduation ceremony at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 24 at Sullivan Field.

In 1983, I met with my school counselor for the “career talk”. All vocational tests pointed toward the sciences, and I could taste a future at NASA.
