Los Alamos School Officials Express Sadness Over Student’s Death

UPDATE: Los Alamos Police Commander Randy Foster explained that the 16-year-old boy’s mother called police after he would not unlock his bedroom door. Police responded, meeting the boy’s mother in the front yard of her White Rock home. The officers entered the home and used a screwdriver to open the door to the boy’s bedroom where they found him dead from a gunshot wound. LAPD continues to investigate, Foster said.
