Community Invited To Red Cross Shelter Operations Training

Los Alamos County Office of Emergency Management is partnering with the American Red Cross to offer Shelter Operations Training for community members interested in supporting disaster response efforts.

SANTA FE — Applications are now open for the 2026 New Mexico Summer Enrichment Internship Program (SEIP), offering high school students the opportunity to earn a paycheck this summer while gaining real-world work experience.  

Through this state-supported Public Education Department (PED) program, students complete eight-week paid internships with local employers, working 20 hours per week while receiving professional skills training and dedicated program support.
