Frisson Winds, one of America’s great touring wind ensembles, will open the Los Alamos Concert Association’s 77th season at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23 with music for flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, and piano. 

Joined by acclaimed pianist Marika Bournaki, Frisson Winds will perform sextets by Beethoven, Roussel and Poulenc. The program will also include Debussy’s seductive Syrinx for solo flute and a rousing trio for flute, clarinet, and bassoon by Valerie Coleman.  Read More
