

Joshua Bell. Courtesy/LACAParking is expected to be a major issue when violin super-star Joshua Bell performs at 8 p.m. Feb. 3 in the Smith Auditorium. The concert is completely sold out so over 940 people will need to park and get into the hall during chilly weather.
Because the parking lot adjacent to the Smith Auditorium is not large enough to handle a sold-out house, the Los Alamos Concert Association strongly urges patrons to carpool.

Early planning paid off for those who wanted to see the Backcountry Film Festival this Thursday.
Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) worked with the Reel Deal Theater and local sponsors to bring the films to Los Alamos, and its popularity exceeded their expectations when it sold out Sunday evening.

Los Alamos Little Theatre will host a panel discussion open to the community at 3:45 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22. The discussion will address suicide, violence, sexual identity and other issues teenagers face as evidenced in the play “Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead” and also as manifest in the local community.
The panel discussion will follow a matinee performance of Dog Sees God, but the discussion is open to anyone interested in attending. The event will be held at the Performing Arts Center, 1670 Nectar St. in Los Alamos.
