The remake of the1954 classic movie Salt of the Earth will shine a spotlight on Los Alamos composer/musician Matt Hanson at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 1 at The Lensic in Santa Fe.

At noon Wednesday May 4 at the United Church of Los Alamos,  a trio of musicians will treat the community to classical chamber music.

The Los Alamos Arts Council’s Brown Bag Show will feature Trio de Los Alamos, which includes pianist Cindy Little, violinist Brian Newnam and cellist Shanalyn Kemme. The performance will feature the United World College African chorus, a jazz trio, student solos and ensembles with Ronald Maltais, artistic director and the UWC percussion ensemble directed by Marc Clark.
