The community is invited to attend two free recitals in Santa Fe and Los Alamos in the upcoming week, featuring music for flute and piano. Guest flutist Dr. Jeong Hoon Lee, currently based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, will partner with pianist Dr. Haewon Yang, a Los Alamos resident.

LALT Issues Call For Proposals For 2025-26 Season

LALT News:

Calling all directors! The Los Alamos Little Theatre (LALT) is looking for play proposals for its upcoming season. Given that LALT will likely be out of the Performing Arts Center for a large part of next season, due to County renovation, pitching a show includes a few extra considerations and may look a little different to any returning directors.

The LALT Board recognizes that potentially pitching a show outside of the Little Theatre venue may be a concern. The board’s artistic committee is working on finding alternative venues and trying to get them at reduced cost.

Los Alamos County invites film lovers to attend the upcoming international entertainment event—the second annual Los Alamos Film & Culture Festival. Held Feb. 21–23, the festival will feature over 20 films and shorts from eight different countries. Presented by Los Alamos County, the festival focuses on celebrating cultures from around the world with the mission of combating xenophobia and racism through storytelling.

Friday kicks off the second annual Los Alamos Film & Culture Festival (LAFCF), as preparations continue for this weekend.
