The Los Alamos Community Winds performed The Stars & Stripes Forever as a sky diver parachutes toward the lawn at Overlook Park before an intense cloud burst sent everyone fleeing for shelter – effectively ending the holiday event. Read More

The 4th of July celebration at Overlook Park in White Rock will go on as planned, sans the fireworks, but all the other great activities will go on as schedule … so don't miss the great fun at Overlook Park on the 4th.

Longmire Television Series Filming This Week in Los Alamos and at the Ski Hill

COUNTY News:

This week, Los Alamos residents will see those familiar yellow and black signs guiding film talent and production crews through town to base camps and film sites within the County.

These signs will post the letters “LM”—for Longmire, The hour-long drama series from Warner Horizon Television, which began filming in March of this year in Santa Fe, Las Vegas and the surrounding areas.

Filming is scheduled to begin tomorrow through Thursday at private homes in Los Alamos and at the Ski Hill.
