Local “Tower of Magic” Performs at Santa Fe Playhouse

The community is invited to a staged reading of “Tower of Magic,” a comedy by Los Alamos playwright, Tess Light, directed by Mish Schneider, and featuring an all-star cast of local film and Broadway actors.

Scenic Jemez Springs is the scene for the Storytelling Jamboree at Jemez Springs Civic Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15. Hear stories, play games, eat, and support vendors.

Mild-mannered Jean is calmly eating a bowl of lobster bisque in a café when she’s disturbed by an annoying cell phone at the next table.

She asks the man to turn it off several times before discovering he can’t — because he’s dead.
