DOE Selects TerranearPMC To Explore New Mexico Research Project

OTERO COUNTY ― TerranearPMC, LLC (TPMC) was selected by the Department of Energy (DOE) to begin exploring the possibility of conducting a research project known as the deep borehole field test in Otero County, New Mexico.

New Mexico Wildlife Center (NMWC) in Espanola has hired Melissa H. Moore as its new executive director.
 
The previous Director, Katherine Eagleson, retired at the end of 2016 after 8 years of leadership. Eagleson brought a strong, science education-based focus to the agency, and helped bring the whole organization to a higher standard.

NMSP: Difficult Driving Conditions Across State

As Thursday’s winter storm moved through New Mexico, it created some difficult driving conditions and New Mexico State Police Officers assisted motorists and investigatied crashes.
 
From 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5 until 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, state police investigated 14 injury crashes, 58 non-injury crashes and assisted 102 motorists.
