ALAMOGORDO — New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas announced Tuesday that Guadalupe Evelyn Kingston, who held power of attorney for a nursing home resident, pled guilty to Exploitation of a Resident’s Property (over $20,000), two counts of Forgery (each over $20,000), Identity Theft, and Falsification of Documents.

This chart shows the seven-day average number of COVID-19 diagnoses per 100,000 people versus date nationwide, statewide, and countywide. Since Feb. 15, diagnoses in Los Alamos were consistently  higher than the national average and the state average. On a scale of 0 to 100, the diagnoses index quantifies the current level of diagnoses by using a comparison with daily levels since the start of the pandemic (the higher the index, the more severe the current state of the pandemic is). SANTA FE – Members of the public may enter a New Mexico courthouse or judicial building without a mask or protective face covering starting March 21. However, masks will continue to be required for any person inside a courtroom or jury assembly area.

Los Alamos Heart Council, in partnership with The Family YMCA, sponsored a “Heart Smart Poster Contest” during February, which is American Heart Month.

The Council and the Y encourage everyone to get their blood pressure checked as a first step in heart care.
