Michelle Lujan Grisham and the Human Services Department reminds homeowners and renters to apply for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), which helps low-income families and individuals pay home heating costs in the winter and necessary cooling costs in the summer.

New Mexico COVID-19 Update Dec. 21: 733 New Cases, Totaling 340,604 With 48 New Deaths And 294,205 Recovered

SANTA FE — New Mexico state health officials announced 733 new COVID-19 cases today.

Los Alamos County reported 2 new cases, bringing the total to 998 people who have tested positive for COVID-19. (County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.)

This update includes 48 new deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19 and a 7-Day positivity rate of 9.4 percent.

Per the state Department of Health, the most recent cases are:
