Alamo Fire Evening Update

SFNF News:

The Alamo Fire in the Jemez Ranger District of the Santa Fe National Forest is 60 percent contained. Lightning sparked the fire Wednesday near Forest Road 289 within a half mile of the southern border of Bandelier National Monument. It has burned 15 acres of grass and dead and down trees.

Resources on scene include two Type 6 engines with eight personnel. The fire intensity is low and burning within the Las Conchas burn area. Single Car Accident Takes Out Power Pole On Central

Los Alamos police and firefighters respond to the scene of a single vehicle accident at about 3:15 p.m. today on Central Avenue near Rose Street. LAFD EMS personnel checked out the female driver who did not appear to be injured.
