The Family YMCA’s Día De Los Muertos Race Brings Community Together, Raises Over $12,000 For Local Youth

This year’s Día De Los Muertos Race pulsed with the kind of energy only Los Alamos can bring. An enthusiastic 225 runners filled the Canyon Rim Trail and Los Alamos Co-op, Saturday, Nov. 1, with color and celebration, and thanks to the community’s incredible support, the event raised more than $12,000 — with over $8,000 going to benefit the families in the community, helping kids learn, grow, and thrive at the Y.

County Invites Community To 2025 Holiday Tree Lighting

Los Alamos County invites the community to join the County Council at 2025 Holiday Tree Lighting and celebrate the start of the holiday season with light and cheer. The ceremony will be held in the Municipal Building Lobby (1000 Central Ave.) on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 5:15 to 5:45 p.m.
