The Unitarian Church of Los Alamos presents an “Introduction to Unitarian Universalism” program Sunday, March 19.

Join the Unitarian Church for worship at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Soup and Bread Luncheon in the Fellowship Hall.

Following the lunch (approx. 12:15 p.m.), the Rev. John Cullinan will present a brief introductory program on Unitarian Universalist history and principles, followed by Q&A time. These events are free.

Council To Hear Atomic City Transit Study Plan March 14

ACT News:

Atomic City Transit (ACT) has been working with LSC Transportation Consultants to update their five-year service plan.

The first draft of the Short-Range Transit Plan Report has been completed and is now available for public review in the Transit Study section of the ACT website. The report includes an analysis of their current services, and some recommendations proposed by the consultant for improvements.

New Mexico Department Of Transportation Partnership Provides Safe Rides Home For St. Patrick’s Day Patrons

ALBUQUERQUE — The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) and its partners are promoting a safe ride home program to combat drunk driving in New Mexico.

Since 2017, NMDOT in partnership with Bernalillo County, the city of Albuquerque, Cumulus radio stations and Uber have provided nearly 26,000 safe rides home by supporting the “Take a Ride on Us” program for people living in the Bernalillo County metro area.
