Announcing the exciting return of the community Independence Day Children’s Parade and Carnival in White Rock, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 366 Grand Canyon Dr. Activities begin at 10 a.m. with a flag ceremony and children’s parade around the block, led by the Los Alamos Police and Fire Department.

‘Clean New Mexico’ Beautification Plan In Full Swing

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) announced Wednesday that the state’s ‘Clean New Mexico’ program has beautified more than 283 miles of New Mexico roads since its launch in April. 

Funded with $10 million secured by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham in the 2022 legislative session, the “Clean New Mexico” program has contracted with several local companies, along with the assistance of the New Mexico Department of Corrections, to remove litter and beautify New Mexico roads across the state.
