The Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday evening for the highly anticipated opening of Muy Salsas at 1315 Trinity Dr. Normally ribbon cutting ceremonies are open to the public, but this one was slightly different due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in the community. Atomic City Transit Suspends Route 5 Due To Staffing Issue
COUNTY News:
Los Alamos County Atomic City Transit (ACT) Route 5 will be suspended starting at 11:35 a.m. today, Jan. 14 through the remainder of the day due to a staffing shortage.
Dial-A-Ride Service for the Barranca Mesa area will be provided on a space basis for the remainder of the day.
ACT apologizes for the inconvenience this staffing shortage issue may cause.

Los Alamos County Atomic City Transit Route 2M (Main Hill), Route 6 Peak & Dial-A-Ride Services Suspended Today

COUNTY News:
Los Alamos County Atomic City Transit Route 2M (Main Hill) and Dial-A-Rice Services will be suspended starting at 11:25 a.m. today through the remainder of the day due to a staffing shortage.
Route 2M passengers should utilize Route 2T for service to White Rock. Route 6 Peak service will end at 5:05 p.m. so riders should use the regular hourly Route 6 bus service.

SANTA FE — According to a return-on-investment study commissioned by the New Mexico Tourism Department (NMTD), New Mexico True advertising in Los Angeles influenced an estimated 80,000 leisure trips that generated $107 million in visitor spending in 2021.
