LANL Employees Bring Federal Lawsuit Claiming COVID-19 Vaccination Mandate Religious Discrimination

Workers at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) are suing their employers at the government-funded national security research facility.

Groundbreaking Ceremony At The Hill Apartments Nov. 3

The Hill Apartments, a new housing development at 121 and 141 35th St. at the intersection of 35th and Finch Street will host a Groundbreaking Ceremony at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3.

The site is the former Los Alamos Site Office, or “LASO” for Los Alamos National Laboratory. Grading of the site commenced in the Summer of 2021 and the developers are beginning the construction of the apartments.

The development was realized through the conveyance of land to Los Alamos County from the Department of Energy (DOE) for the purpose of Economic Development.

SANTA FE — October is Pedestrian Safety Month. The goal is to increase awareness around pedestrian safety and remind drivers to watch for pedestrians each time they are behind the wheel.

Get Home Safely This Halloween Weekend

SANTA FE — As New Mexicans participate in Halloween activities involving alcohol, the New Mexico Department of Transportation and its partners are promoting a program to get people living in the Bernalillo County metro area home safely.

NMDOT is partnering with Bernalillo County, the city of Albuquerque, Cumulus radio stations and Uber to support the “Take a Ride on Us” program designed to combat drunk driving. 

The program offers 1,000 participants an Uber credit of up to $10, two rides per person beginning noon Friday, Oct. 29 through 3 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1.
