Atomic City Transit Route 2M (Main Hill) is suspended through the remainder of today due to a staffing shortage.

Riders should plan to use Route 2T (Truck Route), which will continue to operate its regular schedule 5:55 a.m. to 6:58 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Atomic City Transit apologizes for the inconvenience the Route 2M suspension may cause.

Atomic City Transit (ACT) will not operate Route 2M (Main Hill) beginning at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8 through the remainder of the day due to a staffing shortage.

Riders should plan to use Route 2T (Truck Route), which will continue to operate its regular schedule until 6:58 p.m.

Route 2M service will resume Monday, Oct. 11.

Want Food Trucks? Los Alamos County, in partnership with the Los Alamos Commerce & Development Corporation (LACDC), wants the community’s input about Food Trucks and Mobile Food Vending in the County.

Information gathered from this survey will be used to create a new Mobile Food Vending Ordinance.  

The County’s goal with this new ordinance is to make it easier for vendors to provide a variety of food and/or beverage choices from trucks, bikes, push carts or other wheeled vehicles in a way that is safe and convenient for both vendors and the Los Alamos community.
