Utility Work On La Paloma And La Vista June 14-18

COUNTY News:

Electric line crews with the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities, will replace an underground electric primary cable next week in the intersection of La Paloma Drive and La Vista Drive in White Rock.

Work is scheduled to occur 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, June 14 through Friday, June 18. Traffic impacts will be minimal.

Crews will be working in the southeast shoulder of the intersection with traffic barricades around the construction zone. Two-way traffic will be maintained with a flagging operation at times.

Free Bike Repair Clinic For Kids Saturday!

Members of the Los Alamos Chinese Christian Fellowship are holding a community service free Bike Repair Clinic for Kids 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 12, at First Baptist Church of Los Alamos, 2200 Diamond Dr.

Community members are invited to bring their child’s worn-out bikes to the parking lot of First Baptist Church of Los Alamos where the team will fix them up for free.

Atomic City Transit Announces Bus Stop Closures

Atomic City Transit announces bus stop closures during construction:

…Stop #114 Central Avenue and 6th Street; and

…Stop #115 Central Avenue and 9th Street. This closure will affect Route 1, 2M to the Transit Center. 

…Stop # 116 Central and 15th Street continues to be closed during construction. Closest stops will be  #119 Central and 20th Street and #404 East Road and Canyon.
