National Work Zone Awareness Week Takes Place April 26-30

SANTA FE — National Work Zone Awareness Week (NWZAW) is held each spring to raise awareness as roadway work gets into full swing.

The goal is to remind everyone to pay attention as they approach and drive through work zones so both motorists and roadway workers remain safe.

Canyon Rim Trail Underpass 

AUI, Inc. of Albuquerque will continue work to construct the Canyon Rim Trail Underpass.  

Due to the amount of construction activity that includes trenching, excavation and utility relocation near the trailhead, the trailhead parking lot and a 100 ft. section of the trail near the trailhead will be closed for safety. During this week’s construction, crews will be working along the westbound and eastbound shoulders of NM 502 to clear and remove vegetation, but no vehicular travel lanes will be impacted at this time.  Read More

Atomic City Transit Opens Temporary Bus Stops On Trinity

Effective immediately Atomic City Transit is providing two temporary stops on Trinity Drive near East Road (cross-street Sombrillo Court) on the north and south sides of the street.

Once construction is complete, permanent stops will be installed.
