The upcoming Seeking Truth in Science and Faith talk and discussion will focus on the role of chance in creation and what this means about the nature of the Creator in time.
The discussion and talk are 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 30 at United Church’s Craig Hall, 2525 Canyon Road. More than 40 people from pastors to mathematicians will participate. The presenter is Chick Keller.

The First Baptist Church is hosting a free stuff day 10 a.m. to noon this Saturday, Aug. 2 on its campus at 2200 Diamond Dr.
This event is for anyone in the community. Come on down for a free morning of rock climbing, face painting and snacks.

Lucy goose doesn’t object when they dash through the door and between her legs—probably because she raised them. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Emily died July 21, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe, New Mexico of a head trauma after a reckless driver hit her while she was walking.
