Pentecost commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples. Let the Spirit flow! As Scripture has said, “Whoever believes in Me, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” This Sunday evening, June 8, at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church, join us in praise, worship, and fellowship as we celebrate God’s gift of the Holy Spirit. Area young people ages 8-17 will have a chance to take to the skies Saturday, June 14 as Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 691 hosts a Young Eagles Flight Rally at the Los Alamos Municipal Airport.

The rally is part of the EAA Young Eagles Program, created to share EAA members’ passion for aviation.

Ingredients:
  • 1 medium onion, sliced in rings
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk or cream
  • 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
 
Spray a 1 quart baking dish with non-stick spray. Place sliced onions in the baking dish.
