Aaron’s Kids Closet will open its doors again this Saturday April 26 – new hours 9-11 a.m. – in Fellowship Center at the First United Methodist Church.

Feel free to come by and take what your school age children are in need of.

Aaron’s Kids Closet is a ministry of the First United Methodist Church of Los Alamos and provides gently used clothes, shoes, backpacks and lunch boxes to those in need of assistance.

Free Family History Workshop at LDS Church April 26

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Los Alamos is sponsoring a free Family History Workshop that is open to the public. 

The workshop is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26 at the church at 1967 18th St. Several of the presentations will be repeated every hour to allow attendees to spend as much time as desired at the workshop.

National Day of Prayer at Ashley Pond Park May 1

May 1 is the 63rd Annual National Day of Prayer. More than a million Americans will unite at more than 42,000 locations from coast to coast to pray for the nation. 

This year’s theme is “One Voice, United in Prayer” based on Romans 15:6. There will be a local prayer gathering at Ashley Pond Park noon to 1 p.m., on the first Thursday of May.
