Trinity on the Hill Hosts Service of ‘The Seven Last Words’

This Friday, March 29 from noon until approximately 3 p.m., at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church, the Los Alamos community is invited to a unique Good Friday service that features the ministry of six different churches in town. 

The service of “The Seven Last Words” is a distinctive worship service of prayer, song and reflection.

1 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon basil

1/2 teaspoon ground rosemary
1-2 teaspoon kosher salt
ground pepper

SANTA FE – The highways and roads that lead to the village of Chimayó, New Mexico will be crowded next week as thousands of people begin their pilgrimage to el Santuario de Chimayó.

The largest crowds will be seen on Good Friday, March 29, but road congestion and minor delays can be expected any time in this area during Holy Week, the week before Easter Sunday.

The Easter Chicken is set to visit Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church, corner of Trinity and Diamond, at 6:07 p.m., this Palm Sunday, March 24.

TOTH’s talented puppet group led by Angie Chipera is responsible for the Eastern Chicken’s visit.

A strange subject for a pastor to explore, but one that even this pastor, lived for 10 years. It’s a cultural phenomenon not limited to Los Alamos but spans across the Atlantic, into the very seat of modern Christianity.

6 oz cooked spaghetti noodles
2 eggs
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese (Kraft)
1/2 chopped medium onion
3 cloves garlic, pressed
4 tablespoons butter
Enough chive chip dip (6oz?)
7 mushrooms, sliced
2 ½ cups spaghetti sauce
1 ½ cups Mozzarella cheese
