SANTA FE  New Mexico School for the Arts’ Dance Department will offer a one hour performance Nov. 2-4 featuring the talented young dancers of NMSAat the James A. Little Theater.

The Los Alamos Community Winds will open the 2017-2018 Season with its Fall Concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 at White Rock Baptist Church (80 N.M. 4). All Community Winds concerts are free, with a suggested donation of $10.

“This concert includes a variety of music that allows individual solo moments,” Winds Artistic Director Ted Vives said.

The UNM-LA campus will host a significant New Mexico youth piano competition from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, when 28 contestants ranging in age from six-to sixteen years old will descend on the campus from Los Alamos, Santa Fe, and Las Vegas.
