White Rock Senior Center Becoming Social Hub

LARSO News:

With two new programs, the White Rock Senior Center is becoming a social hub.

The community is welcome to sing old and familiar tunes at 3 p.m. every Friday. Song sheets will be provided and a pianist will accompany singers.

Additionally, the center also offers a “Gals Gab Group,” which begins at 1 p.m. each Tuesday. The social club, which started in February, is geared toward women who live alone and do not get to talk much to other women.

Opera Guild Opening Night Party Early Bird Discount Available Through March 31

OPERA News:

The Guilds of the Santa Fe Opera, Inc. present an all-guild opening night party and dinner at 5:30 p.m., July 3 at the Dapples Pavilion in the Santa Fe Opera.

The event is a fundraiser for the opera’s education and community programs department.

 An early bird discount is being offered until March 31; the cost for just the dinner is $70. Dinner and tickets to section 5 at the opera house cost $150 until March 31. Additionally, dinner plus tickets to section four in the opera house cost $205 until March 31.

Santa Fe Pro Musica Presents ‘Baroque Holy Week’

SANTA FE – Santa Fe Pro Musica’s beloved Baroque Holy Week concerts return this April, featuring the Santa Fe Pro Musica Baroque Ensemble performing works inspired by the secular and the divine in the historic Loretto Chapel.

Vocalists Kathryn Mueller and Deborah Domanski will join the Ensemble for the final piece on the program, Pergolesi’s transcendent Stabat Mater.
