The staff at Mesa Public Library presents Four Shillings Short for a live concert 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3 at Fuller Lodge.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for this event, which is free to the public and appropriate for all ages.

Celebrating its 42nd season, the Santa Fe Women’s Ensemble (SFWE) will present “In the Still of December” holiday concerts.

Joined by violinist Carla Kountoupes, along with Ensemble pianist Bill Epstein, SFWE will share familiar carols from Austria, Germany, France, Ukraine and Wales, as well new winter treasures like “Christmas Snowflakes” by Laura Hawley; “Winter Awakening” arranged by Erica Phare-Bergh; “Miles to Go Before I Sleep” by Larry Nickel; and a toe-tapping “Hodie Christus Natus Est” by Kelly-Marie Murphy.
